Alan is the founder of Hyatt & Weber, P.A. and has guided the law firm for more than 40 years to become one of the most successful practices in the region. Alan uses his real-world experience and deep knowledge of the real estate market to help to advance his clients' projects, in addition to working on various projects that have shaped the landscape of the region.

As a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, Alan has deep roots and is active in the community. As such, he has served as chairman and president of Severn Bancorp, a Nasdaq-traded bank holding company which has merged with Shore Bancshares of Easton, MD, the holding company of Shore United Bank. Alan serves as Chairman of both Shore Bancshares and Shore United Bank. He also serves on the boards of Luminis Health, Annapolis Community Foundation and the Anne Arundel County Retirement and Pension System, and is the former chair of Anne Arundel Community College Foundation.

Alan’s active practice areas include land use and zoning, real estate, business law and banking law, with a focus on commercial transactions. He provides strategic counsel on a wide range of matters from contracts, financing and liquor licensing to regulatory compliance, loan documentation workouts and foreclosures. Alan's clients include large and small companies, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, business owners, real estate developers and individuals from Maryland and across the nation.
